If you enjoy having a a beer every once in a while, keep your cash at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your purse, your money belt, and keep all money, plastic credit and checks back at the hotel. Take only the cash you intend to spend on drinks, tips and few dollars you intend to throw away and keep the remainder behind.
Cynical? Not by any means. Just realistic. You may well experience a profit following a boozy evening out with your buddies and be blessed sufficiently to hook a long toss at a smokin craps table. Hang on to that account seeing that it is as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink alcohol and gamble. These activities just don’t go well together.
Leaving your cash back at the hotel might be a little drastic, but preventative measures for drastic actions is a requirement. If you bet to succeed, then do not drink and play. If you can afford to burn your money without a concern, then consume all the no charge alcohol you can handle, but don’t carry charge cards and checkbooks to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your drunk as a skunk head loses everything!
Let me to carry this one step more. do not drink and then head on to the internet to gamble in your favorite casino either. I love to beer from the coziness of my apartment, but considering that I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards near by, I can’t drink alcohol and wager.
How come? Despite the fact that I do not consume alcohol a lot, when I drink, it’s definitely enough to befuddle my common sense. I gamble, so I don’t drink alcohol when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, do not wager at the same time. Both create a dangerous, and costly, drink.
